Weekend program for Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce 300
CLICK HERE for the weekend program for Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce 300 presented by the LCO Casino.
Hayward 300 Track Info
I haven't heard all the details, but the track for this weekend is 5 miles long. Lots more of true cross country running in the fields behind the LCO Casino.
If I can figure it out tomorrow, I'll jump in the groomer and get pictures and post them.
They've been stockpiling snow since November at the casino and in the fields there, they said the track is 3 feet to as deep as 5 feet in different places. They've had the dump truck going around the clock bringing in plenty of snow so any potential warm weather doesn't kill the track and the racing fun for you guys.
More to come tomorrow.

Polaris sponsors appearance by X-Games Gold Medalist
Polaris & Hayward Powersports are sponsoring an appearance by Levi LaVallee at the Hayward 300 and Hayward Powersports this weekend.
LaVallee won two gold medals this year at the Winter X-Games, bringing home gold in Freestyle and the new Speed & Style. He was the first ever motorsports athlete to be named the X-Games Athlete of the Year.
Polaris & Hayward Powersports are bringing him to Hayward for the Hayward 300 March 1st & 2nd to help promote the last leg of the $100,000 AMSOIL Triple Crown presented by Polaris.
Levi is excited to come and loves the aspect of this hybrid style of racing that entails both snocross and cross-country racing. Racers have been competing in the events on both production sleds you can buy at a dealer and in racing specific snocross sleds - both types finishing at the top of the podiums!
Levi will be at Hayward Powersports tomorrow February 29th at 5pm to take photos and sign autographs. (No February 29th isn't a joke, it is a leap year.)
Then he will be at the Hayward 300 this weekend at the LCO Casino contributing to the event and will again be available for autographs and photos at the Saturday night concert at the LCO featuring Keystone and Britney Lee. Tickets are $5 for the concert.
For more details, visit www.Hayward300.com .

Video Montage - Mille Lacs 200
Playing this on the computer doesn’t do justice to the quality of pictures Wayne took last weekend, we will be playing the DVD in the tent this weekend at the BIR 200.
These photos are from the first leg of the AMSOIL Triple Crown driven by Polaris, the Mille Lacs 200.
If you have a chance to thank Wayne and his crew, please do so. He’s one of many that are bending over backwards to help us move the series forward.
The show runs about 7 minutes. (it takes a minute to load once you click it.)

AMSOIL Triple Crown blog
Hey guys - the hits and activity on the new blogs has been great. Please make sure you let us know what you more of and less of. We've heard a lot that you liked the photos, but you don't want just the pros, but photos of everyone. Which makes sense as the pros race for the big money, but are only part of the racing action.
Anything you want, you can e-mail us at info@sledhead24-7.com.
See everyone this weekend at BIR.

BIR 200 Update
Lots of rumblings about snocross teams trying to get sleds ready for the last two events, the only confirmation we have is from TRF that Cat is sending a team.
UPDATE: To preface this, I haven't seen the registrations, but we just got a call the Ryan Simons and Dan Ebert are going to enter the event this weekend.
Also, Wayne Davis has been a HUGE help to us in many ways. He took over 4,000 pictures this weekend of all the racers. He put together a 7 minute slide show with some of the images. We hope to have it up and running for the racers sometime this week. If you don't know Wayne, he is the best in the business and the nicest guy ever, if you see him at the events, please say thanks for his support.
